First, raw material preparation

The main raw material of PP yarn is polypropylene particles, which need to be screened, dried and dyed first. Screening requires uniform particle size, drying requires the removal of water in the particles, and dyeing requires the polypropylene particles to obtain the desired color

Two, melting treatment

After the raw material preparation, the polypropylene particles are put into the melting machine for melting treatment under the high temperature and high pressure conditions inside the melting machine, the polypropylene particles are heated to a molten state, so that it becomes a viscous molten polypropylene.

Three, extrusion molding

Molten polypropylene is extruded through an extruder. A rotating screw in the extruder feeds the molten polypropylene into the mold, which is extruded and cooled to form a circular section of yarn. In the extrusion process, parameters such as extrusion speed, temperature and pressure need to be controlled to obtain the ideal yarn quality.

Fourth, cooling and stretching

After extrusion, the yarn is cooled so that it quickly solidifies. The yarn is then stretched by a drawing machine to increase its strength and ductility. During the drawing process, the cross-sectional area of the yarn gradually decreases and the length gradually increases.

Five, winding

After cooling and stretching, the yarn is wound by a winding machine to form a yarn barrel. When winding, it is necessary to control the winding speed and tension to ensure the tidiness and tightness of the yarn.

6. Drying and testing

After the winding is completed, the yarn drum will be dried by the dryer to remove the moisture in the yarn and then the yarn will be inspected to check whether its appearance, strength, breaking length and other indicators meet the requirements.

Vii. Packaging and quality inspection

After drying and testing, PP yarn needs to be packaged and inspected. When packing, the yarn is loaded into a reel or reel, and then wrapped in a bag. During the quality inspection, the appearance, strength, color fastness and other items of the packaged yarn are tested to ensure the quality is qualified.

8. Finished product inventory

After packaging and quality inspection, PP yarn is stored as a finished product. Inventory of finished products: It is necessary to pay attention to the storage environment and conditions to avoid moisture, discoloration or deformation of yarn
